I have built a void in my studio, as base and base Ikea IVAR cabinets with on top a custom-sawn construction by TOSIZE.co.uk, always perfect to size in the desired plate!

Work description: how did you realize your project

I wanted to build a storage in my studio that reached further in height, so on top of my old storage cabinets. Because my new studio is 4.5m high, that's fine. A vide was the best option for this! I had already found an old staircase, plus a few recycled cover plates. Because my studio is not very large, I chose to immediately order perfectly tailor-made parts to finish the job. I placed a base of recycled Ikea IVAR cabinets and built a construction on top with cross bars and sheet material, cut to size perfectly so that I only had to attach them. Super easy! The supporting beams are attached to the shelving units, with cross beams made of recycled material in between and the plates on top.
