Jack made a radiator cover out of MDF Blank. He had the material cut to size by us and then worked on the sheets himself for the finishing touch. For example, he painted the MDF with white lacquer and made the cutouts for the legs.

Description by Jack

MDF is a very suitable material for making a radiator cover. It is a structurally strong sheet and is used for countless indoor projects. MDF Blank is the most standard form and is often chosen for its smooth surface and easy workability. MDF Blank has a porous nature, so it is important to prime the material well with a primer before applying paint. The end grains require some extra attention. To counteract the porous nature of the end grains, there are various options. Check out our DIY tip for this: How to paint the end grains of MDF.
