Open wall cupboard made of MDF Blank, by Saskia

What have you made?

An open wall cupboard of 2 uprights with several shelves. The uprights are just deeper than the planks, which gives a playful effect. Then all holes and seams finished and the cabinet painted three times.

How did you proceed?

Because the floor and ceiling are not completely straight and we wanted to have full connection, we started with 2 uprights that were made ourselves. First placed a frame of slats and plates against it. Then we measured all sizes exactly and ordered the planks from TOSIZE.co.uk. We had to fine-tune the last planks, but now everything is super tight! Where the planks meet the uprights, we have sealed and the screw holes have been covered with filler. Sand well and finish 2 more times after a coat of primer!

The case is 266.0 cm high and 375.0 cm wide.
