Self-designed vinyl cabinet

For a while I was looking for a place for all LPs and the number of singles that I have collected in recent years. Later I realized that it might be a good idea to make my own cupboard where I can put all this in and this is where the building project started. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to make a design for the cupboard. She started right away and the drawing was finished in one day. After calculating all the dimensions so that everything fit exactly on and in, we ordered the planks we needed to make it one whole. Two weeks after we had placed the order, the package was received and I could start assembling the box. With a little help, the cupboard was assembled within a day. Before we started assembling the planks, we first rounded the edges, and then sanded some neatly. With a special dowel machine we made gutters in which the dowels could go in with a little wood glue. We let this harden for a while with the help of some clamps. We then sanded the whole thing. After this he was ready to get a darker color, we did this with water-based color stain. In summary, it was a short, but very fun project that me and my girlfriend will enjoy for a long time to come.
